Digging in Latvia

Digging in Latvia

Hi to all!

I am inviting all history lovers to participate in exiting metal detector searching for relics of WW2 in the territory of Kurland in Latvia.

With our expeditions you will be able to visit the front lines in its hottest spots and the rear, where the German army was surrender. You will see trenches, bunkers, coastal fortifications and many other evidence of this historical moment. With the help of the metal detector and the shovel you are sure to find the relics of those years, you will touch the history with your own hands. And it will be not just emotional moments, but a memory, that you can keep with you at home.

You will have a professional guide with more than 10 years experience of digging. He will bring you to the most perspective places, will take care of your safety, give the necessary advice and in the evening, after the expedition will take you to our "Bunker" hostel, where you will stay in cozy rooms in military style, inspired by the events of World War II. You will have the unique opportunity to spend the night among the relics of the Second World War, touch the objects found in the territory of Kurland Kettle and in the depths of the Baltic Sea, from the sunken German ships.

In the evening with extra charge you can order dinner or cook it by yourself in our equipped kitchen, which has a fridge, a microwave oven, a toaster and a teapot, planning your next day expedition with the help of the German maps of 1944 y. We have garden outside the hostel, where you can enjoy barbeque and have peaceful discussion of the past expedition.
